As the 20th Century drew to a close, we had recognised that our core business of packaging and selling broken biscuits through the House of Lancaster brand, whilst buoyant, needed the support of a different range of products.

Whilst on holiday in the sun, inspired by Linda Freeman’s request for a cup of tea and a biscuit to dunk in it, Harry Freeman thought up the concept of the “Dunkables” range of products.

The wholesale company had grown from premises in Bentley Mill Way, and the “Bentley Mill Biscuit Company” logo was a logical banner under which to launch the “Dunkables” range.

A registered trade mark, “Dunkables” has been a great success for the company, and the range has grown steadily to include “Jaffa Cakes”, “Luxury Chocolate Biscuit Assortment”, “Choc Chip Cookies”, “Savoury Biscuits”, and of course our well known “Dunkables Biscuit Assortment” with the cup-of-tea logo.
